She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. H. B. and Ima McBurney (Swann); her sisters, Kathleen, Ima Jean, Eloise and Bobbie Sue Smith; and her grandchild Aiden James Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Robert Simpson Jr.; her sons, Mark Simpson (Debbie) and Charles Simpson III (Kim); her grandchildren, Kristen Smith (Dustin), Tiffany Ford (Ty), Sarah Copeland (Kevan), Conner Charles Simpson and Colton Robert Simpson (Shelbey); and her great grandchildren, Austin Gaines, Allie Kay Smith, Trip Len, Taylen Faye Ford, Lennon Faye, Brylen Mark Copeland and Aiden Smith.
