He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Hazel Thacker and Edward Dan Winters; and his siblings, Alvin, Bob, Gary and Joy.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannie; his children, Todd Winters (Judy), Marsha Smith (Dave), Lori McCoy (Todd) and Susan Winters; his grandchildren, Christine Grosch (Reston), Jason Scribner, Joel Scribner (Bridgett), Tiffani Doan (Nate), Scott McDonald (Jennie), Cody McDonald (Ginger), Kyle McCoy (Katie), Kathryn Varino, Malinda Varino, John-Michael Varino, Joseph Varino (Carrie) and Valerie Varino; his stepgranddaughter Stephanie Theisen; his siblings, Joe Winters (Karleen), Kenny Winters (Janet), Don Winters (Donita) and Karren Totten of Haysville, KS; his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Heinz, Doris Way and Bill Milliger of Denver, CO; and his close friends, G. W. Taylor, Bobbie Taylor, Jack Matlock, Eva Matlock and Ed Hodge. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
