He is survived by: his son Derek Hernandez of Elk City, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Dayton Joe Hernandez of East Texas, Ariah Danielle Hernandez of East Texas and Brinleigh Ryanne Hernandez of East Texas; his brother-in-law Randy Carlisle of Canute, Oklahoma; and his sisters, Josie Gallagher of Elk City and Irene Howard of Elk City. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
