She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Phipps and Mary Phipps (Glass); her husband John Thomas "Sonny" Stewart; and her siblings, Odessa Reed, Margie Nix, Charles and Roy Phipps.
She is survived by: her children, Dirl Burruss (Joyce) of Elgin, Martha Suggs (Jerry) of Elgin and Roger Burruss (Teresa) of Lawton; and her siblings, Francis Ketner of Marlow, Lorene Conley of Texas and Frank Phipps of Lawton. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
