He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Chancey and Ruth Chancey (Stewart); and his siblings, Garner, Woodrow, Alene, Audra, Iris, Otho, Charles, Banks, Thomas and William "Bill".
He is survived by: his wife Thoyce Jean Chancey (Bachelor); his children, Jeff Chancey (Jeanette), Fairy Lynn Booth and Michelle Chancey; his granddaughters, Janessa Kann (Tyler) and Jessica Romine (Erik); and his brother Kenneth. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
