With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gay D. Blackburn Standridge (Elgin, Oklahoma), who passed away on January 26, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer E. Coody and Brooksie B. Wilson; her former husband Billy Wade; her husband Jimmy; her siblings, JT Coody, Brooksie B. Coody, Davalene Coody, Violet Loweta Kelln, Naomi Avis Beemer and Charmis Omega Lawson; and her nephew Billy Wade Blackburn, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Laura Davidson (Reggie), Reta Tsotigh (John) and Rev. Brian W. Blackburn; her daughter-in-law Suzie of Pearsall; her siblings, Thelma Krysinski-Wienko (TK) of Milwaukee, WI, Homer Coody (Thelma) of Elgin and Dale Coody (Ann) of Lawton; and her stepdaughters, Sharon Goodman of Jeff Standridge, Ala and Dawn Simpson. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
