He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Austin and Ada A. Austin (Arnold); and his sister Pamela Schmouss. He is survived by: his wife Giavonna "Joan" Austin of Elgin, Oklahoma; his children, Sandra (David), Shreve of Oregon, Stella Stanton of Lawton, Oklahoma, Frank Austin, Jr. of Pahrump, Richard Stanton (Gail) of Fletcher, OK, Mark Stanton (Sarah) of Choctaw and Patrick Austin (Carlene) of Osage City, Kansas; and his siblings, Sandra J. Urmanski of Ogden and George B. Austin of Vancouver, Washington. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-granchildren.
