He is survived by: his son Pete Menchaca; his siblings, Ben, Cecilia M. Kaspar and Dora E. Tobias; his brothers-in-law, Michael Kaspar and Gumecindo V Tobias Jr.; his daughter-in-law Elizebeth Menchaca; his former wife Ermina Valdez; and his nieces and nephews, Valdez and Tobiasand.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fort Sill National Cemetery (2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538).
