She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Pirtle and Jessie Pirtle; her siblings, W. A., James, Eugene Pirtle, Aline Szpyrka, Mary Scott and Faye Leeper; and her husband Roy Smith.
She is survived by: her sisters, Alice Baker, Willene Grooms and Betty Monette; her son Clyde Smith; her granddaughters, Stephanie Smith and Lindsey (Matthew Reyna); her great grandchildren, Mariah, Baylor Reyna, Kyler Smith and Konnor Huddleston; her daughter Kristi Moore (Duke); and her granddaughters, Kaylen Moore and Jessica Moore. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Frances survived Covid-19 and pneumonia in November 2020, but never fully regained her strength.
