We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2024, at the age of 89, Wayne Freeman Knight in El Reno, Oklahoma, born in Geary, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Wayne Freeman's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Knight and Fannie Knight (Whitener); his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Theda Ayers; his daughter Linda Penwright; and his great grandchild Andy Watts.
He is survived by: his wife Odessa Knight; and his children, Ronnie Knight (Sheryl) and Beverly Knight. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (100 N Barker Ave, El Reno, OK 73036). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Red Rock Cemetery.
