She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Nuzum and Margie Nuzum. She is survived by: her husband Jeff Pennel; her brothers, Warren Criss Nuzum (Kathy) and Brian Wayne Nuzum (Selina); her sons, Justin Dean Pennel (Dawn) and Colton Shane Pennel; and her grandchildren, Harley and Samantha Pennel. She is also survived by her family and all of her friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Shelby's name to OU Medical Center or the Cancer Research Foundation.
