He was predeceased by: his son Leo Allen Richey, Jr.; his mother Dez Allen; his siblings, Barbara Allen, Alice Rattler, Carrie Ward, Pearl Allen, Margaret White and John Hobart Allen; and his granddaughter Lurlene Barnes.
He is survived by: his children, Cheweeta Mickens (John Mickens), Wendell Ferguson and Leona Barnes (Ron Barnes); his brother Warner R. Allen (Edna Allen); his sister-in-law Phyliss Allen; his cousin Wanda Guiton; and his close friends, Frankie Adair, Alfred Gene Jones and Oscar White. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, close relatives, and friends.
