He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo "Bill" Merritt and Ruth Merritt (Gamble); and his daughter Cindy. He is survived by: his children, Connie Merritt Furry (Gordon) of Oklahoma City and Curt Lynn Merritt (Tammie) of Edmond, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7801 Northwest Expy, Oklahoma City, OK 73132).
