He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. Moody and Ella A. Moody; his wife Linda Carol Moody; his daughter Mandi Jo Moody; his siblings, Nettie Lou Eaton and Bob; his sister-in-law Mary Sue Good; his brother Jimmy C.; and his sister-in-law Ella Mae Moody.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Melvin (Sandra) and Tammy Conley (Larnardo); his grandchildren, Madison Moody-Torres, Lindan Danae Conley and Gregory Robert Jones; his brother-in-law Chester Easton; and his close friend Buddy Decker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
