She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Ward and Omie Aston Ward of Bruce; her husband Curtis Alford; her siblings, Leon Ward (Ann) of Bartlett, TN, Dean Ward of Grenada, James Lonnie Ward (Pauline) of Bulverde, Texas, Levy Mae Naron (C. L.) of Vardaman and Vida Mae Weir (Selby) of Bruce; and her stepgranddaughter Lindsay Dianne Reed.
She is survived by: her brother Johnny Ward (Kay) of Grenada; her children, Rhonda Kaye Bailey (Arthur) of Yukon, OK, Melissa Dawn Carisen (James) of Millington, TN and Michael Kevin Norwood (late Patricia) of Houston; her stepdaughters, Lesa Alford of Houston and Paula Reed of Houston; her grandchildren, Amie Carter (John), John Dunn (Lyndsey), Clay Clark (Amanda), Ashley Clark, Craig Norwood and Alanna Norwood; and her stepgrandchildren, Hannah Edwards, Chantal Medina, Alexandria Cochajil, Blake Reed, Josh Reed and Megan Reed. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
