He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Roger Donald Guarry; his wife Tammy; his daughters, Madison, Paige and Brooke; his brother Gregory Angelo Guarry; and his mother Jeri Whitely of Bristol, Virginia. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, as well as dear friends.
He has served on various local non-profit boards in the past, most notably, the Alzheimer's Association, where he also served two years as President, and more recently Citizens Caring for Children.
