Call us at 405-341-2787 Tommie Elaine Patterson Tommie Elaine Patterson, 76, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023, while surrounded by her family. Elaine was born on December 30, 1946, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Tommy D. Earheart and Amileta Ruth (Compton) Earheart.
Elaine graduated from Midwest City High School in 1965. After graduating high school, Elaine married the love of her life, L. Paul Patterson on May 28, 1968. She went on to attend UCO and graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1992. Elaine was a member of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs. She was a friend to all and had an avid love of animals that she passed on to her daughters.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Paul Patterson of Edmond, Oklahoma, and two daughters: Samantha Patterson-Barnes, R.N. of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Megan Patterson-Smith, R.N., and grandson, Mason Patterson Smith.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Matthews Funeral Home beginning at 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Matthews Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, Oklahoma.
