He was predeceased by: his father Gary Don Curtis; his cousin Mike Jones; his uncles, Cecil Jones and Boswell; his aunt Jerry Chaney; and his grandparents, Margaret, William Curtis, Robert and Leola Lankford.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Curtis (Deason); his children, Caralyn Grace (Josh Chica), Josef Todd Curtis, Emma Rosalee Curtis and John Alexander Curtis; and his mother Rosalee Curtis of Albany, OR.. He is also survived by Many sibling in-laws, dear cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces, and nephews.
