He was predeceased by: his parents, Clint Jackson Ousley and Lena Nelson Ousley; his siblings, Geneva Manore and Johnny; his daughter Gail Jean Gipson; and his great grandchild Zoelle.
He is survived by: his wife Opal R. Ousley; his daughter Carol A. Reeves (Richard); and his grandchildren, Kimberly Reeves-Black (Alie), Kamilah Morton, Adrian T. Reeves (Catherine), Kamil Gipson (Monique) and Nadiyah Albee. He is also survived by great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and nieces and nephews.
