He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Burke and Marilyn Burke (Boswell); and his sister Christine Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Jarita Jan Sneed; his daughter Stephanie (Jamey Reynolds); his grandchildren, Eben, Solace, Naomi and Isabell; and his sisters, Mary (George Dakil) and Janet Burke. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Steve's grandsons' Boy Scouts Troop, Boy Scouts of America Troop 55, 9011 Old Charlotte Pike, Pegram, TN 37143.
