Shirley Avery Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2018, at the age of 84, Shirley Avery (Edmond, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Lucille Tatum Deaner (Jud), Selma Tatum Califana (Jerry), James Sherman Tatum Jr. (Emojean) and Celesta Tatum Bogert (John); her brother-in-law Jerry Sillings (Vera); her sister Anna Lee Tatum Singleton (Clarence); and her siblings-in-law, Geri Wilson Tatum (Stanley) and John Henry (Joan).

She is survived by: her daughter Anne Avery-Pearce; her son-in-law Robert Pearce; her sister Vera Tatum Sillings; her sister-in-law Emojean Miller Tatum; and her siblings, Stanley Tatum, William "Bud" Tatum, Keith Tatum (Barbara), Joan Tatum Henry, Michael Tatum (Elaine) and Arlene Tatum Benedict (Henry). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
