Sharon Marie Sisson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2025, at the age of 68, Sharon Marie Sisson of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kern and Nalda Kern; her sisters, Pat Marshall and Deirdre Jackson; her sister-in-law Linda Kern; and her nieces, Amy Kern-Mitchell and Christi Jackson.
She is survived by: her husband Neal Wayne Sisson; her daughters, Lauren and Merideth; her friends, Debbie and Jim; her sons-in-law, Kevin Costello and Brent Buchheit; her granddaughter Sissy Costello; and her siblings, Mike Kern of McAlester, OK, Mark, Sandy Kern of Edmond, OK, Vicky, Ron Fegaly of Tulsa, OK, Duke, Cindy Kern of Norman, OK, Margie Collett of Indiana, Greg, Lisa Kern of Oklahoma City, OK, Theresa Kern of Tulsa, OK, Renee Kern of Oklahoma City, OK and John Kern of Denver, CO.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (900 S Littler Ave, Edmond, OK 73034).
As a lifelong lover of animals, particularly her rescue dogs Hallie, Pancake and Bella, as well as cats Rudy and Mischief, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Safe Haven Animal Rescue in Oklahoma City in Sharon's honor. You may also donate to the American Cancer Society, or to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond.
