It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Poindexter of Edmond, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Clifford and Goldy Elizabeth Poindexter (Woodring). He is survived by: his children, Christopher Poindexter (Barbara) of Lone Wolf, OK., Randy Poindexter (Sabrina) of Edmond, OK. and Virginia "Ginny" Poindexter (Kathy Singletary) of Oklahoma City, OK.; his grandchildren, Charlie Sharp, Kyle Poindexter DeCocq, Jordan Poindexter, Reanna Poindexter, Nate Poindexter and Tanner Poindexter; and his great grandchildren, Kaiden Greer and Kaylee Greer.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
