He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Schmidt and W. Berniece Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Patti Schmidt; his children, Evan Schmidt (Kristen) and Emily Orcutt (Matt); his grandchildren, Weston, Kaden, Gavin and Kylie; and his siblings, Gene Schmidt (Melinda) and Kaye Olsmith.
