We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2024, at the age of 86, Robert Lewis King of Edmond, Oklahoma, born in Wichita, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lewis King and Birdie Lenora King Jackson; and his siblings, Bill King, Dean Pitchford, Wesley Pitchford, Jimmy King, Shirley Bideler and Dorothy Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Arlene King; his brother Jerry (Linda King); and his sister-in-law Wilma Pitchford (Mary Lou Carpenter) of Edmond. He is also survived by 5 children and their spouses.
