We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2025, at the age of 74, Richard Thomas Lawrence of Edmond, Oklahoma, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard Thomas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Byron Lawrence and Annamae Coughlin-Lawrence; and his brother William Byron Lawrence. He is survived by: his close friend Linda Wagner; his daughter Michelle Lawrence (Lemont Henderson); his granddaughters, Brianna and Aubrey Henderson; his daughter Renee Brooks; his granddaughter Haylee Hutchcraft; his brother Thomas Lawrence (Kim); and his nephews, Richard and Bryan Lawrence.
