In 2000 Phil quit his job in Texas as Regional Sales Supervisor for Solaray Corporation to become a full-time caregiver for our parents for 11 years before their passing. Phil was such a caring and compassionate son. He was an inspiration to all who knew him.

Phil loved music and he would jam with his friend in his man cave. He had a large collection of guitars, fiddles, and a banjo. To his friend he was known as Keek. He was a quiet and gentle soul who loved pets. He had 5 cats, Boomer, Kaboom, Quatro, Cinco, and Kitty.

Phil was an avid golfer and loved to play competitive golf with his brother, Jack.

A memorial grave site service will be announced later at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, Ks.

“Known "Keek" since we were kids growing up in the same neighborhood. Always admired and appreciated how he took care of his parents. Occasionally, played golf with Phil's dad who was very proud of the man Phil became. Rightly so!”
