He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Patterson and Jo Patterson; and his siblings, Dave Patterson (Rose) of Maynardville, TN., Don, Beth, Steve and Becky.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Patterson (Bracken); his children, Frances Patterson (James) of Oklahoma City and Starr Adkins of Edmond; his grandchildren, Ebbie Nelson, Georgia Patterson, Tyler Brown and Addie Patterson; and his great grandchildren, Atticus and Diana.
