He was predeceased by: his parents, Benton Garrett and Elizabeth "Libby" Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Brad Garrett of Edmond, Jason McWatters (Bronwyn) of Van Alstyne, Joyce Garrett of Broken Arrow and Sabrina Froehlich (Jay) of Edmond, Oklahoma; his sister Kay Boolos (David) of Vicksburg, Mississippi; his mother-in-law Eva Strealy of Edmond, Oklahoma; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Skach (Lenny) of Ripley, Oklahoma and David Strealy (Lisa) of McKinney, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
