She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph "Rudy" Brus and Irene Brus (Schroeder); her significant other Herb; her brother Melvin; her sister-in-law Arleen; and her nephews, Mike and Andy.

She is survived by: her children, David (Jenelle) and Diane (Taze).

Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Matthews Funeral Home (601 S Kelly Ave, Edmond, OK 73003). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:30 AM.
