He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Earl Loard and Fineva DeShane Loard; his daughter Gretchen Lyn Loard; and his siblings, Mary Nell Rainey and Bruce Dean Loard.

He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Elizabeth Loard Riney (Ron); his grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Castelli (Cameron), Cameron Timothy Riney (Jessica) and Nathaneal Blake Riney; his great grandchildren, Aiden Clark Castelli and Calvin Ray Riney; his wife Ellen Williams; and his nieces and nephews, Kirk Loard of Georgia, Brandon Loard of New Mexico, Vicky Woodburn of Lawton and Debbie Rainey of Lawton.
