He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Weiss and Elsie Weiss; and his siblings, Louise Perry, Shirley Smeltzer, Merrilea Smith, Charles Weiss, Ernest "Pud" Weiss and Larry Weiss.

He is survived by: his sons, David Weiss (Linda) of Macomb and Jason Weiss of Edmond; his grandsons, Jonathan Weiss (Kinzie) of High Springs and Andrew Weiss (Jordan) of Wynnewood; and his great grandchildren, Carson Weiss, Jasper Weiss, Adelyn Weiss and Preston Weiss. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
