With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen J. Johns (Edmond, Oklahoma), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Karen leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her mother Lula Pearl Hackney; and her siblings, James and Louise. She is survived by: her husband Pete; her children, Jennifer (Greg) and Jeffrey (Rachel) of Edmond; her sister Ruth (Charles) of Bartlesville; and her grandchildren, Brennen, Kylie, Allie, Catelyn, Sophia of Edmond and Koda.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel (601 S Kelly Ave, Edmond, OK 73003).
