He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luther Roscoe and Sybil Undine Harris; his wife Mary Ann George; his children, John Richard Jr. (Jackie), Danny Paul (Sheri), Jeanne Sue (Walt) and Bobby Glen (Peggy); his grandchildren, Kailey (Bryce), Blake (Isla), Eric (Kristin), Kris (Rosemary), Ashley (Pete), Bobby (LaDonna), Stephen (Abi) and Stephanie (Randy); and his great grandchildren, William, John David, Nathan, Abby, Madison and Esther.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Matthews Funeral Home (601 S Kelly Ave, Edmond, OK 73003). A burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rosedale Cemetery (2020 N Oak Ave, Ada, OK 74820).
