He is survived by: his wife Marti; his children, Mike Schmersey (Cindy) of Rossville and Kelly Schmersey of Abilene; his stepdaughter Stephanie Ammons (Jeff) of Panhandle, Texas.; his grandchildren, Allie, Bella, Aaron, Michael, Cainen, Dax and Jace (Emily); his brother Paul (Judy); and also Dr. Tom Denton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
