He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Wylene Durrett of Edmond; his daughter Emily Neeld; his son-in-law Matthew Jones of Oklahoma City; his granddaughters, Sophia Neeld, Phoebe Neeld, Chloe Neeld, Adeline Jones and Eloise Jones; his mother Edna Durrett of Edmond; his sister Dinah Beattie; his brother-in-law Jeremy Beattie; and his father John Ewin Durrett Sr.. He was also cherished by six nephews and two nieces.
