With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ernest Spradley Jr. of Edmond, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 1, 2023 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ernest Spradley, Sr. and Lula Florence (Ponton); his wife Luvilla (Lou); his son Reginald; his adoptive daughter Cynthia; and his siblings, Elmer, Myrle, Theron, Gillis of Doris, J. B., Ed, Glenn and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his daughter Jonette (Larry); his adoptive son Glenn; his grandchildren, Scott (Kristen), Aaron (Ashley), Matthew and Angela (Joshua); his great grandchildren, Morgan, Allie, Hayden, Kambria, Brycen, Caden, Coltyn, Everleigh, Austyn and Damyon; and his brother McLemore.
To carry, out his wishes, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that people give to their local congregations so that the needy can be helped and the Gospel may continue to be spread.
