He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Francis and Virginia Francis; his sister Peggy; and his brother-in-law Harold Reherman. He is survived by: his former wife Susan Bentley; his wife Sue; his sons, John C. Francis of Leawood, KS and Steven M. Francis (Katie O'Donnell); and his sister Jane Kenney (John Kenney).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (900 S Littler Ave, Edmond, OK 73034).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the John E. Francis Scholarship Fund at the University of Oklahoma College of Engineering.
