James Curtis York Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Curtis York of Edmond, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mertis York and Jack York; his sister Mertis Joanne York; his parents-in-law, Wanda and Henry Woodard; and his partner Baxter.
He is survived by: his significant other Jeanee; his daughter Jamie Michelle (Peter); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Caitlin and Noah of Las Vegas; his daughter Jeri Brooks (Jeff) of Edmond; his brothers, Ronnie York (Darlene) of Norman, Kent York (Julie) of Ohio and Mark York of New York City; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Kerr (Larry Lewis) of Blanchard and Rocky Woodard (Neva) of Chickasha. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
