Herbert left this world on October 24, 2024 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert D Wootten Sr. and Della Mae Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, John D Wootten (TeriAnn Wootten) of Horseshoe Bay, TX, Kimberly K Hawk (Jeffery), Hawk of Edmond, OK and Herbert Zackery Wootten of Augusta; his granddaughters, Kalia K Brown of Edmond, OK and Taylor Shea Johnson (Andrew Johnson) of Horseshoe Bay, TX; his great grandchildren, Aria, Axel and Anakin Johnson; and his sisters, Patsey Lou Pilgreen and Charlotte Foust (Cookie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Baggerley Funeral Home (930 S Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (13400 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131).
