It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wayne Briggs of Edmond, Oklahoma, born in Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Leonard Briggs and Jimmie Lee Bennett Briggs; and his brother Ronald Lee Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his daughter Peggy; his granddaughter Tammy Hudgens (Mitchell) of Owasso, Oklahoma; his great grandchildren, Jamie Meek (Martin) of Owasso, Oklahoma and Mitchell Hudgens (Emily) of Owasso; his son Melvin Briggs (Chris) of Owasso; his great grandchildren, Branson Briggs (Trista) of Talala, Oklahoma, Brankin Briggs of Edmond, Leo Nauman of Tulsa and Senecca Strickland (Brock) of Pryor; and his brothers, Jerry Briggs (Gicela) of Webster and Richard Briggs (Penny) of Bartlesville.
