He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Stone and Rhea Stone; his brother John Stone; his sister-in-law Carol Stone; and his niece Jodi Stone Benally.

He is survived by: his wife Janelle Pollock Stone; his daughter Natalie Stone VanOosten (Shane VanOosten); his grandchildren, Parker and Stone VanOosten; his brother Joe Stone, Jr.; his brother-in-law Stanley Pollock (Barbara Pollock); and his nieces and nephews, David, Stephen Stone, Shawna Stone Lee and Kaylee Pollock Peterman.
