He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Porter and Evangeline Porter. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his siblings, Melanie and Fred Porter (Thomas Nguyen); his children, Heather (Ryan Archer), Will (Chinwedu Porter) and Justin (Kelli Porter); and his grandchildren, Ellery Archer, Avery Archer, Alvan Porter, Valerie Porter and Brooke Porter.
He served as President of many organizations, among them are Delta Upsilon International Fraternity, Rotary Club 29, OKC Men's Dinner Club, and the OKC Chapter of the American Heart Association.
