With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Duane Larry Hanson (Edmond, Oklahoma), born in Flandreau, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Milton Hanson; and his father-in-law Doc Marion Heng (Edna Heng). He is survived by: his mother Delphine Hanson; his wife Linda Hanson; his children, Dr. Ryan Hanson (April Hanson) of Edmond and Dr. Tiﬀany Labrecque (Jimmy Labrecque) of Colleyville, Texas; his siblings, Diane Luedtke, Sandra Luhmann, Brenda Johnson, David Hanson, William Hanson, Thomas Hanson and Robert Hanson; his brother-in-law Dr. Bruce Heng (Suzanne Heng); his grandchildren, Adam Hanson, Jack Hanson, Alyssa Labrecque, Lucas Labrecque and Charis Labrecque; and his pet Zoe.

In lieu of ﬂowers, contributions in Duane's honor can be made to: Holy Trinity Lutheran School, Edmond, OK.
