We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2024, at the age of 95, Dorothy Rose Hammond (Edmond, Oklahoma) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Rose Hammond to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Hamilton Hampton and Rosa Ethel Hampton (Dowda); her brother James Dale Hampton; and her husband John Alfred Hammond. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Anne Ferguson (Rod) and John Mark Hammond (Rose); and her grandchildren, Kimberly Rae Weaver (Mitch), John Christian Hammond (Whitney), Matthew Blake Ferguson, Sean Daniel Ferguson (Melissa), Aubrey Rose Gary (Taylor) and Sydney Marie Hammond (Cooper). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; and many beloved friends.

It was Dot's request that any memorials be made to the Building Fund of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Edmond and to Breakfast on Boulevard.
