He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude L. Reeves and Evangeline A. Long; his son Neal Reeves; and his sisters, Dorothy Cathey (Don) and Francis Wilkinson (Richard).
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Neal Reeves; his daughter Kirsten Thompson (Jeffrey) of McKinney, Texas; and his grandchildren, Lance David Thompson, Allie Rae Thompson and Liam David Reeves. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
