He is survived by: his parents, Ann Bearden and John Griffin; his stepmother Cheryl Griffin; his siblings, Crystal Mease (Matt), James Griffin and Brady Buckner; his niece Destiny Griffin; his grandparents, Robert Griffin and Sue Bearden; his uncles, Rob Griffin, Adam Bearden and Allen Bearden; and also, Zachary, Emily Griffin, Jacob, Justin, Joshua, Jonathan and Analee Bearden.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Austin's name to Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy.
