She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton William Darity and Bertie Vandiver Darity; and her husband Sherrill Simpson. She is survived by: her son Milton Simpson (Kisha) of Idabel, OK; her grandchildren, Shaylee and Kenzi of Idabel, OK; her cousin Jeanette; and her sister Carol Graham.
