It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Eugene Gentry (Durant, Oklahoma), born in Denison, Texas, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, W. M. Gentry and Vera Mae Gentry (Giles); and his siblings, Martin, Frankie Gentry and Patsy Brown.
He is survived by: his sisters, Wanda Booe of Durant, Elizabeth Wilson of Durant and Wynona Lewis of Savoy, Texas.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a cherished circle of friends.
