He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, H. L. Riddle and Georgie Riddle; his wife Rosemary Highfill; his grandson Bo; his parents-in-law, O. W. and Bobbie Highfill; his children, Merry Annette Carter and Jason Lee Riddle (Heather); his sister Lorene Butler; his children, Kay Silver and Terry Riddle (Etoya); his grandchildren, Austin Riddle, David Buchanan (Melissa), Stacie Turner (James), Lindsey Riddle and Coby Riddle; his brother Jess Riddle (Leah); and his close friend Bill Elliott. He was also cherished by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
